    Default Pyramid 4/6

Got out to Pyramid for the first time. Had a good time, a little windy in the morning but what a nice lake. Being the middle of the week, there were only four other boats on the lake and left me plenty of room for trolling. Loaded up the ole truck and headed up the grapevine. Launched the boat, took a tour around the lake and ended back in the launch ramp cove trolling with rapalas. Trolled at 25 feet with the downrigger and another line on the surface (around 8 foot). Both were successful and we ended up landing three and farming two more. The bite lasted about one hour and then ended. Spent the rest of the day trolling in circles and trying a little bait and wait to no avail. Overall, had a fun day and had fish tacos at the end of the day :)

    Nice Job.

Dont give up on the bait and wait. If you find the right spot there are some big kittys hanging with the stipers.

Thats if your willing to gut a catfish. All u need is a Hammer , a board , a Nail , and a pair of pliers.
