Thread: unpainted lure bodies

    Default unpainted lure bodies

I'm looking for some unpainted (blank) lure bodies. Specifically crank baits or jerk baits.
There was a guy that had some Lucky Craft bodies on ebay a few months ago but can't find them now.

anyone ever ordered any? There's a few sites that have them but I thought I'd ask if anyone has bought any and happy with the action and movement of the lure once it's in the water.

My friend Matt found a hookup on some LV500 blanks for 4 bucks a pop...no hardware, no eyeballs. He says that the bait doens't have tungsten BB's but rather, lead. In fishing with them, the one noticable thing that Matt pointed out was that they spin when they sink, unlike the "real" LV which does a nose dive. However, he's caught LMB with this bait he painted himself:

    Not bad!

Here's the link. I know its good in that my other friend Carlo just ordered 10 this week:

I'd direct you guys to his (matts) post on this, but its on a private site.

Alot of their "ghost" colors are quite translucent. Not sure if they make a clear one.

here are some that i made that i bought as blank lure boadys. they run really nice tones of wiggle and a decent bit of wobble and they also rattle. they are dive 7-9 feet and are slow risers

these are 5' divers super slow rising nice wobble and wiggle and have a verey eratic action when jerked with just the right pop they sometimes will do a 180 to face the other way

I have two LCFM 110 bodies that need repaints.
    no hooks or splits.
One has a crack in the body but it landed my PB 28 something inch halibut even with the crack in it.
the other just needs paint hooks and rings. no crack.
PM me if you are interested.
I had a few repaints listed last week or so..
