3/13 What a season!
Buddy and I went out for our last hooping trip this year. Lauched out of HH. went south to our secret spot off Huntington beach. Only did three set of 10. Very slow to say the least, but manage 6 legals and 4 stone crabs.
One of the legal was a 13 pounder! All in all, It was a amazing year for us. All I can say is that for those that fish regularly for bass around structures, marked those places and hoop it later. No doubt there are lobster there. Although I need to look for more shallow structures. Most of mines are withing 60 to 80 ft of water and Im getting too old to pull that deep. LOL
