Default Are 2 strokes allowed of Skinner?

Does anybody know if two stroke engines are allowed on Lake Skinner? I was told there were but then I read that the are a 4 stroke only lake like DVL. I looked On the DFG website to see if they had a list on lakes in socal that are 4 stroke only but didn't see one.

yes they are but the must be direct oil injected like the mercury optimax or made after 2002 i believe. It should have a sticker on it saying so.

They have the same regulations as DVL.

If you have a old carbureted 2 stroke then you are out of luck. There are newer model injected 2 strokes that meet the requirements so its not "4 stroke only".

Thanks dbiggs. I will check my motor. I tink it is a 1997 mercury but the oil is added to a tank on the motor. I'll check it out.
