Ever try using bacon to help season and keep the fish moist?
I either bake or grill inside foil using garlic salt, pepper, lemon juice, onion, then wrap the trout in a couple slices of bacon.
Another way to season trout to either grill or bake is garlic salt, lemon pepper, and some good italian salad dressing. I prefer Bernstiens Restaurant Recipe Italian dressing. You can use te dressing to marinate other types of meat too......london broil beef with peele cloves of garlic implanted in the meat, chicken with some added garlic salt, and even pork steaks/loins also with added garlic salt and pepper. The oil helps keep all kinds of meat from drying out.
