    i have never fished for striper but live up in hesperia....

    was wondering for the duct do you need a fishing license?

    has anyone fished the duct between escondido and topaz?

    i have a bait caster medium 6'6 would that work for stripers?

    whats the best lures to throw?

    Yes you need a license. Yes fish that area and all other spots you can. Rod should be ok. I use 14lb line, 3/4 - 1oz. lures.......still learning myself.... keep reading on this site........good luck and post your progress ...good luck....pm me if you want. Tight lines

    Where you been hiding???? So many reports on the Duct, how did you miss them??

    To that I would add that the licenses expire Dec 31 so I would get a 2011 license and start my fishing in 2011 instead of buying a 2010 license for only a week and 2 days.
