Yea it depends on the religion. Thai's is a yes . Chinese is a yes. and Lao's is a no because if you put your fish in new water it's supposed to cleanse the badluck out and allow whomever to consume it and will bring them good luck and that's only laotian people's belief but with the other asian it's bad to consume them because you will recieve the bad luck that supposed to be released from the carrier.
