Good to see you again Smitty, here is my report as promised lol. Next time we come up we are going to bring some space suits because those mosquitos raped the hell out of us over 3 days. Got bit through my shirt, on the inside of my palms, knuckles, behind my ears, face, head. I noticed the more we drank the mosquitos stayed away, they didn't like the taste of liquor in our blood..

Got up friday afternoon in bishop around 2pm picked up some beer, bait, and ammo and headed up the hill for some excellent fishing, South lake is loaded with fish right now. Got up to the lake and put on a clinic. The Grim Reaper was already putting a hurt before I got up there. Fished with mini jigs over the course of 2 days almost every color worked for me. It was a nice relaxing weekend with a lot of slayage... didn't have time to take as many pics as I wanted too but did take a few, some did not come out right( camera issues). Will be coming up again in a couple weeks. Highlights for the trip were ice cold beer, beautiful weather, good people, fish plentiful, girlfriend caught her first brook trout on a jig and she also won some money at the casino which helped reduce travel expenses :)

Farmy you were missed, Susie uses nitro grease for nail polish now lol we found yet one more use for nitro grease. I outfished 12-1, I'm sure if you were there I would have had to compete and step up my ratio. I owe you a bday present hit me up, lets grab a beer

Cool report cuda, Smittys area is awesome!! I didn't get a chance to hit it up my last trip, but I plan on it during my next trip in sept/oct. Thanx for the great pics, looks like your crew slayed em! Where did you guys get the brookies?

Man ... it looks shallow in one place. Loved to see the deer ... with spots? You just using 1/32 or 1/16 mini jigs? 2# test? FWIW ... which brand do you like to use? I've never known if that makes any diff.

Your lady not only looks nice, but brave. You've got your hoody on and she's going sleeveless!

It was great seeing you and your girl man...good times for sure!!!! Thanks for the report, at least someone has time to put up some fish porn hahaha. 10lb 2oz came out today bro....unreal! Hit me up a week or so before the next time you're in the area and I'll try and get out there and fish/party with you guys.

Smitty, I saw that 10lber over by the dam. I caught a fish on a jig and as I was bringing him up to the surface I saw this huge shadow come up from the depths and the big boy was following the trout I had on the end of my line. Would have loved to trade fish but oh well thats fishing and it was cool to see him lurkin behind. We did see a girl farm a huge fish as well. she fought it for a while but it broke off so I know they are in there lol.

I was using 1/32 oz jigs.... didn't matter which brand, or colors for that matter. Got them on pretty much every color combination. lighter colors in the day and darker color in the mornings and afternoons seemed to work best....

Be up there in a couple weeks smitty, will give you a ring.

Hopefully the fish eat all the mosquitos by the time we get up there again. The fishing WFO on Friday, I couldn't reel in my line without getting bit. When beeracuda pulled up the boat he was on after his first cast and I was on right after too. Was a funn trip, can't wait to get up there again.
