lake cachuma
Cachuma is about it around there for freshwater. You can always hit Refugio or El Captian for some pier action....

Lake Los Caneros is right between Fairview, and Los Caneros, by the freeway. Good tubing lake.
You can also try lake Casitas in Ojai. Good Luck.
Cachuma was pretty touch back in Sept, water was low - hot weather.
