Bako duct mania.....there MUST be BlooooooD !

Hit Bako Duct…..More manic mania…

Went and concentrated on a few different zones that I don’t fish that often and went back where I contacted (but did not catch) a few bigger units Saturday..

My 1st stop….fishin it REAL hard


30 minutes…..into it

HoooookUP !

Ohhhh YES !

A real nice chuncky solid Unit……He could not resist the KPN steel fished a little deeper than normal……

And a nice drag ~peelin fight !

No more luv and so off again I go in search of action….

Workin a LC now….in a shallower zone..

THEN I saw a flash…I knew one was in the area and targeting….

About 3-5 casts later….

Short TAG !

Dayam !

I said it out LOUD !


……………….“YOUR GOING DOWN Tonight ! !”

A few more casts into it and……

BENDO !

Woooo-hoo….bigger than the 1st one !


Yeeeee-haw…..drag strippin upstream it brings a smile to the fisherman inside me as I battle the worthy adversary !

And to the dirt it goes…

This fish was ALL YOKED UP and thrashin’ violently on the ground and I worked the hook out and it kinda slipped out of my hand and I guess it’s called:

“Tit for Tat”

I spilled some of his blood….I guess it’s only fair that he spills some of mine !

Those wicked gill slats took their toll on my thumb !

Bob this Bloods for you but this time it’s MINE !

The really strange thing is….this was the same spot where I got HOOKED a year ago on Halloween eve day….

Seems like the spot has a little blood feva’ !

We’ll I guess I can stand donating just a little blood for the cause !

Anyways…..the last fish made a huge amount of noise thrashing in the water so I sat out the spot for a little bit to let some quiet reign into the zone so hopefully more fish move in….

I gave it about 20 minutes…

Started casting and saw another HUGE Unit follow my LC

After a few more lure passes..

WHAMo !

It INSTANTLY went …

ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ! REAL HARD and she came up thrashing and rolling on top instantly..!

Very well could have been the big unit I saw Saturday as it was the same zone but who’s to tell…hard to say for sure !

This was a real nice Feesh and after the intial drag screamin’ run subsided……


IT STOPPED !

Dayam ! lost ‘em !

I find out after ………… that the smart ol girl “RIPPED” my hook off the lure !

I have altered my LC’s with #4 owner stinger hooks on the tail and #2’s on the belly…

It ripped the #2 right off aslong with the split ring………….

DAYAM !


Let the spot rest again…

Then after another 15-20 casts….

Anutha Bendo !

Not an extremely long fish but severely yoked up and thick..

I released and moved on to 3 other spots for no more action….

Went back to the scene of the blood crime on the reverse drive and hooked up 2 more times but lost em again !

1 on KPN and 1 on LC…….

Dayam…those fish went with an even score with me last night…

Landed 3
Lost 3


Dinna for tonight !!!!
