Newbie in the IE

Hello all. I live in the IE and have decided to get back into fishing. It has been 10+ years since I have wet a line.
I've fished 1/4, 1/2, full, multi-day boats, Loreto, La Paz, and East Cape.
I have fished for bass and trout at all of the usual places in So Cal.
I used to catch a lot of trout and bass at the Peck Road Water Conservation Park 30 years ago, I lived right across Peck from it.
I am planning on starting at one of the "pay for fishing" places, probably Corona Lakes, in the next month as it is close and the reports seem positive. I am going to take my youngest son, 25 years old, and see if we can catch anything at Corona Lakes. After the first of the year I will get my license and try Lake Hemet, Big Bear, etc.
I used to really like fishing and don't know why it went on the back burner but it is time to knock off the cob webs and get my stuff back into working condition. I look forward to meeting some of the members and catching up on old and new techniques.
