Default YELLOW on the freedom 11/7

Sorry for the late report, this was for Friday's trip on the Freedom. After Russ88 report I just had to try it. Sadly to report no love for me and most of the boat. The whole boat landed 4-5 yellows, a bunch of bat rays, 3 halibut, a tree-fish and a big whitefish. The crew thinks there were too much pressure on the yellow from all the boat in the area.

When we woke up to fish there were already 14 other boats there. The Captain worked real hard to find the biters but sadly it never materialized. The yellows that were caught were pretty hefty– first one boated was the biggest going 37 lbs.
There were about 4 break-offs too. many guys hooked up to the disappointment of having a bat ray at the end of their line. I didn't even get a nibble. At least it was a beautiful day the water was flat and it was warm and sunny. Ya can't beat that weather.

here's a few pocks of the day. wish there were more fish photos. Enjoy

    Thanks for the report.
Too bad about the slow fishing. I'm surprised no one caught a WSB out there.
