MAMMOTH LAKES CAMPGROUND

Does anyone know if I will have trouble getting into Mammoth Lakes Campground in early August? All their sites that you can reserve are booked up. I will be arriving on a Wednesday night and hope to spend a few days up there with the family. I will need a site for a RV. Anyboby know if it is always completely full during the week? Thanks for the help.

Bro, if you head into the Twin Lakes campground, there should not be any problem getting a site. GOOD LUCK.

Thanks, I hope you are right. I have the RV rented (Darn those things are expensive to rent nowadays) and I really want to stay at Twin lakes in Mammoth.

getting to the camp site from noon to 2pm is best. cause thats when every-one is checking out.

I go by those campsites 2-3 times a week and every time there have been open spots this season. Good Luck and enjoy Mammoth!
