    Default 10/12 DVL algae bloomed..... LMB boiled...... Striper?????

    Bass boiled til bout 10.

    Threw the kitchen sink, got bit on ; white underspin, white spoon w/tail, and TD minnow for 3 quaility fish.

    around 10 startedDropshotin' 6lb. floro w/ dvl destroyer robo. Caught about 10 dinks with that.

    off water @1030.

    Great day.

    Can someone please tell me how to catch the schooly stripper ???????

    Sweet Bass..Did you ever see any Striper boils? We were there yesterday and only saw a few.

    surfer john.. i was there yesterday too.. and didnt see many striper boils.

    bigtuna, when the stripers boil.. its really like seeing the water boil.. very similar to how tuna do it.. LMB boils seem a bit more sporadic to me.

    all i caught yesterday were the smaller grade lmb's.

    Rumors is that they were supposedly boiling at the West Dam in the morning.

    Yea we cruised the lake like three times...All we got were LMB but Saturday was a different story..Stripers everywhere

    Just becuase you dont see the boils it doesnt mean they are not happening, you have too remember the striper is a ocean fish ,they cover great amount of water and distance in a short amount of time and go from being shallow to the deep real quick,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    Yup ... I agreed with TO on this one, on Sunday I just cruised the center of the lake mid-throttle so I have an edge on actually getting to them once they come up, gotta keep your eyes wide open, and DON'T run over top of them. DVL stripey are a little more skiddish than say Castaic. If you stop to fish, always watch your back (water), they could popup yard behind you while you are face down watching your line ... happy hooking
