Flathead trip palo verde
just wanted to thank katnip and bluhunter for the tips
got to P V around 4:15pm hit up a bait hole got about 20 talpi in 45 min
hit the first spot at 5:45 at 7 pm got my first flat about 2lb then at 8
got another one 5 lbs moved to a new spot around midnight got a run hooked up
got in some trees got it loose then got under the bridge and snap the lie
i say it was around 20lbs at 5am got another fish 10lbs
it was a good night
bring extra blankets temps are droping
Way to go out there, sucks loosing the big one but it keeps us going back for more.
Good job out there glad you was able to get on some fish. Loosing the big ones is all part of paying dues - keep at it and you will soon be rewarded. Good going.
