    Default Grunion

Does anyone have any info about grunion? Are they running, when, where, anything? I have found accurate info impossible to come by.
    Thanks

Last run was around Aug 26th. They showed at Cabrillo Beach on the last night of their run... right on schedule.
The grunion are done till next March.

Here's a link to the grunion info on the DFG website...

They make good food. Deep fried Grunion filled to the brim with roe.

If you look at the schedule, it reads last run is in August. But does not say that you can't catch them in September.
I would call DFG and confirm. It might just be that they are done spawning in August. If they say you can try in September, the next run will be the 8th till the 11th. Try from around 10:00 p.m. till midnight.
PM me if you want a guaranteed spot.
