8/21 lower lake

Lower lake was a little crowded with boats this morning but none of them were fishing the grass, better for us, took my friend out this morning, had a guy who wanted to fish but he want to fish with shad, but like i've the Lagoon is putting out some pigs right now and shad or no shad when the big ones want to play it's time to play, and we sure had fun today.
Got a early start today, followed a few boats toward my area, but they went over to the swim beach and I went to the grass, were theres grass theres bass....
threw the buzzbait for a while and dropshoted the flashtrixs in sexy shad and got some keepers right off the bat, the fish were busting on baitfish and very active, I got bit on a drop and yelled to Dave, big fish get the net, work the fish, went under the boat tried to get in the weeds but got him up and Dave got him in the net, 6.0 on the digital.

We worked this area for some more keeps, and went down the weed line tossing the buzzbait, Dave with the twin blade and me with the Atomic, I can't remember if Dave or me got the next fish, think Dave connected on a nice fish that went over 4

then I hooked up on one that went about 5


We were stoked that the fish were wanting to play, went back to my orignal spot and we got a few more on the flashtrixs when Daves drag started to screem, the fish came up and it was a toad, Dave took his time and let the fish do what it wanted to do, he called for the net and I reached out to net the fish and my arm went into spasm cause of my tennis elbow or what I call my fishing elbow, I don't play tennis... next time by I got it in the net, I said, I think you got me by a bit Dave... LOL fish went 7.10 , 7.12 7.14 so I'm conservative, 7.8 lol
PB dropshot fish for Dave, High fives all around.

all fish released heathly and ready to be caught again.

played around some more Dave put another 4 or 5 fish in the boat via the dropshot, fished the blades somemore it was getting freaking hot so we called it a day, just a little after 12:00

There was an incident @ the goon on the evening of 21st. Lots of cops, ambulance, and more cops in the camp ground area. Anybody know what hap?
