    ok, not exactly so cal.
    Been hitting the salmon and dungeness crabs hard here in Wa. the last month since I'm not working.

    Very nice Chinook indeed. I was only up there once and I didn't get to go fishing.

    I've been up here four years now. We are from SoCal. Took awhile to figure out salmon after chasing calicos, yellowtail and albacore. They've got the craziest fish regs. here. The Wa ocean is divided into 13 areas and they all have different regs. You can have a salmon closure in one area and one mile away salmon(or lings,halibut) is open. And some areas are open 7days per week, some 4 days per week. Halibut was two 2 days per week. And we have catch cards that we have to mark as soon as you catch them for halibut, salmon, crab, sturgeon.
