    Default truxton and b.v. bakersfield....

been busy with new baby and all that fun stuff so havent had a chance to post much so heres a combo ive had enough luck to get out to fish at least once a week for a few hours each time,, hit truxton a couple times and b.v. a couple times "b.v. being the last trip last week"... targeted carp with one pole "no carp luck" targeted mostly bluegill with the ultralight, did get a few small "under 1 lb" cats on the carp setup but no carpski... tons of tiny cats and small to large bluegill,, more keepers then small by far so ive kept many bluegill.. culling the medium guys and tossin back the tiny and largest ones... had one fish fry but used the rest for a couple jerky batches.. very tasty.. last tripalso caught a couple lmb in the 1.5 lb range... few larger ones swimming around but very very skittish. anyways if ur wanting some larger bluegill action get on it nows the time for bako.. get em before i make more jerky or fish fry... red worms are workin best for me
