    Here's my line-up...

The Powell-Curado combo has been sold to make room for another custom.

I've got a Budweiser can wrapped with 10 pound mono from 1982 that I use for dropshotting off the pier, using a spark plug.

Then my finesse combo is a Miller Lite can wrapped with 8 pound mono from 1989, that I use with my snelled bait holder hooks.

Finally, I have a Popsicle stick wrapped with 6 pound test that I use for trout.

What do you have the gap on that spark plug set for? Mackerel, Bass? Also if you want to get a setup for bigger game you can step up to the 16oz can..

This is not a joke. Been bottle fishing in the Port of LA/LB for years.
Usually with swimbaits. The Baby Puss 4" in orange or green is a awesome plastic for bouncing along the docks. 50 + sand bass have been landed this way.

Since fishing is not allowed we must creative and low key.
Found these pics so you get the idea.

I use a beer bottle instead of a can myself - one of those old straight-taper jobs.

I am sure my setup was the inspiration for Zebco's spincaster....

I've found bottles don't have a reliable drag system.

Also, if u use braid, it has the tendency to slip. You can use a bit of tape and then put the braid on, and it helps a little.

My sponsor Miller Lite developed a bottle with a "vortex" neck that supposedly creates a real smooth drag. I am currently testing it out.
