    I heard that fishing will not be allowed at Echo Park when this is all said and done... Just emailed em and asked, just to be sure!!!

    That would be messed up. I never fished there, But all our tax paying dollars go to these projects and they close it off to fishing. BS I tell you. they should also open up lake Hollywood. You know how big the bass are in there?

    I'm glad they're leaving some water for the migratory birds that are there, so that no relocation occurs.

    But I dunno if they're gonna relocate the hipsters. Im sure Silver Lake will take a few.

    fun fact for you. My uncle is responsible for Echo Park and several other LA lakes getting stocked. Back when he was a teenager he would go to the city council meetings and complain about there not being any fish. He showed up city council meetings for about a year straight. To get him off their case they decided to stock Echo Park. But that wasnt enough. So he showed up for the next year again until more lakes were stocked.
