Posting in this thread because we never got too far outta the harbor. Launched out of ventura sunday morning about 430am and headed north but not too far. My buddy has a new rock harbor boat and has been out a few times and just wanted to put some fish on the boat. All he had caught was a smelt. Told him lets stay local and fish the white seabass and cuda. First spot we were on em. We caught a ton of scooters but no ghosts. Launched at 430am back by 1pm and had enough fun for two days. Great day on the water, got my buddy on some fish. We sam a few whales, a thresher and overall a great day on the water. Back to the surf for me today.
