If any of you saw the Bass Master Elite Series from Lake Jordan a few weeks back a similiar thing happened to Russ Lane.
It was a hot humid day...and Russ Lane was trying to land a decent bass. He had it hooked, and while walking to the back of the boat, the rod slipped out of his hand and fell into the water. I felt for him, but at the same time, his body language and the expression on his face made me roll on the floor. I have never seen that before, especially a pro during a tourney.
Lucky for him he ended up winning anyway...
