07/18/10 dd striper

Finally I caught a DD striper. Actually my very first DD. ;)
Striper fishing seems to be getting better for me. Nothing close to wide open but able to land one here one there.
Iam a regular at Castaic on Sundays and usually on Sundays with all the lakelice fishing gets pretty slow but for the past few Sundays its been not too shabby.
Here is a pic of my very first DD striper. Caught this bad boy at Sharon's rest at 120ft down.

Now THAT is getting it done, son! There have been so few upper Castaic posts lately, I thought maybe the lake had dried up...Thanks also for sharing a couple of the details...

That's a very nice fish. Me and three other friend caught 4 limits on Sunsday yesterday by 2:00 PM but mostly schoolies.
