"STAY LIT in LONG*BEACH.."
hit the light house @1:30 with the kids riding there new scooter,skateboards and longboard down the slopes of the light house..that kept them busy long enough so i can fish..the bites were about almost every hour and slow..the fish just wouldn't commit, but slammed the hell out of my hammers..the other thing is when i did get a hit my okuma spinning rod would buckle under the fight with the fish, i litterally was reeling in and the handle would grind, not the spool but the damn handle..which is why i'm gonna start taking out my diawa left baitcaster from now on for the salt..anyway 6:00pm rolls around and the sun is setting, it seems like the dinnerbell woke these suckers up and landed 6 SANDBASS back to back cast and 1 good size spottie..yes finnaly found the spottie. they all fought good and felt like i was bringing up dead weight, the only thing that was shi77y was that my spinning combo couldn't handle these guys..the wifey called me in and we rolled it up at 8pm, ate at fantastic in west long beach for a late dinner with the family then back here to the I*EEEEEasy...
