SFD Float Tube LMB
Fished SFD with my son this mornign for only a couple hours started out throughing spinner blades and chater baits with no luck. Then switched over to wacky rigged stick baits and quickly caught a small LMB. Then my son lost one right at his tube only a few minutes go by and he loses another one (what can I say he is just like his dad) a Few minutes later a land a 16in LMB a very light bite but it faught very well (on 6lb test). The lake was not crowded at all and a great place to float tube on the weekend when other lakes are busy with motor boaters and jet skiers. Only electric motors allowed on this lake. We soon called it quits and left the lake for some grub before it got crowded.
It was a good day with a few hours of quality time with my son. I still had enough time to go visit mom for some Okra Gumbo.
