Default -Lateral Vision On The Motivator-

[CENTER]Headed out to the seas in desperate need of some fishing. The seas were rough and had a lot of swells starting up fresh in the morning with the wind blowing what seems like in every direction.

Came up to the first location and had a couple short bites off a couple rocks. We had a lot of "on the drop action." Aggresive fish in some areas as the swimbait was probably hit about 5 times before either getting one or losing one. I could just imagine what the fish are thinking as they see the swimbait drop. Each one hoping they could get it before the other fish can.

The fishing would pick up then go slow then pick up again as we moved around to deeper water. We picked off some descent fish. We were hoping the sun would come out but it teased us as the clouds would move in quickly.

We picked up a little less than 20 fish with a lot of 1's and 2's. With 4 descent fish with the big one measuring at 22 and some change.

We headed back in grabbed some lunch picked up a friend and headed back out for some local Calicos. The weather had 180 degree turnaround as the wind died the weather warmed up and it was on.

We all had short bites and we got very close to the boilers with the swells being pretty high. We all got pretty shaken up after one swell was huge, but thats why its called combat fishing right? There was only one picture worthy fish as the other fish were still young.

We wish all the guys out there Good Luck for the tournament this weekend!

    Some quality bass right there!

Had great success on the swimbait pattern in the 2nd pic working the Spotties in NPH! I just recently went back to try and make it work again!

    Thanks for the great report!
