    Default Castaic 5-30-10

My brother and I decided to take our kid to Castaic on the Holiday weekend for Memorial slay day. Left home at 5:00 AM, stop at The Gallion for bait around 6:15 AM and finally got to the water by 7:00.

Went straight to the bouiy line set up the ankor and start fishing around 7:30. Caught 6 nice fish by 9:30 and there were no more bite. Everyone start to leave aound 11:00 and we also left the bouiy line aound noon time, looking for fish other location but found nothing so we hit back to the bouiy line again and got there around 2:00 PM.

Right away my brother catch one more fish while we were still trying to tie up other rods. Suddenly, some one turn on the fan, and we start catching fish left and right non stop while my kid and my niece were sleeping on the boat. We got our 2 limits by 4:00 PM and the bite had stopped.

We thought that there are still plenty of time left and decide to stay longer hoping to get another limit or two for the kid but we only caught 3 more fishes before closing time. We end up with 23 fishes for 4 people but we are so happy that we finally be able to got at least our two limit for the first time at castaic.

On the way back up, I met marzocchi's friend " Dan" of " LOWE Boat" and start chatting for awhile when he were setting the boat back up at the dock. Nice talking to you Dan! hope to see you there again next time.

    Nice Slay,

You did great. I was at the other end of the buoy line and it was slow down there.
