    Default Oldest Party Boat?

I was just wondering if anyone knew what the oldest party boat in operation in the So. Cal area is? If I had to vote I think I'd pick the "City of Redondo". I caught my first yellowtail on that boat some 34 years ago and it was an old boat then. If I remember right the date of launch or manufacture is on the Coast Guard license that's posted, usually in the galley, on all the boats. Thinking back I think the "City" had a date some time in the late 40's. Another contender might be the "Malahini" which I believe was a surplus PT boat. Also, there's the "GW" (at least I think it's still the "GW") which looks about the same era as the "City". Anybody else have any opinions as to which boat is oldest? Maybe when you guys go out on these boats you can scope out the CG license and report how old the boat is.

The Estrella held the title for years she was built in 1916 or there abouts.
    The ones still fishing

The Betty O was built in 1920

    Sea Angler in 1933

    Matt Wash in 1942

    Ranger 85 in 1944

    Malihini in 1945

    Sport KIng in 1946

    Gentelman in 1947

    Sourthern California in 1947

The City of Redondo was built in 1953

    The Victory was in 1968.

The City is a good fishing platform with a light load, close to the water and a great drifter.

The Gentelman if it gets sloppy, your in for a wet ride..

ole frog has fished on most of these vessels.

Loved to fish the Ranger when she fished San Miguel Island.

The Gentelman ole frog fished her many a time out of Paradise Cove .
Then it got washed away ? the cove's pier not the boat.
    ta ta ole frog
