    Default El Dorado Park Lake

Walked the entire big lake this AM ... no luck w/top-water baits and spinners. Afternoon at the hole, limits/ plus of trout, and some Sunfish. Big bass chasing planter trout from last week, really big bass. Met the Hungarian guy that likes carp, talked to the the Ranger for a while, and caught fish. Trout plant next week should coincide with bass getting on the beds for spawn. I don't think many people know about how rich this lake is in fish ... good fish. Was a great day of fishing ...

El Dorado is a fun lake. I love catching Bluegills and Catfish out there. Seems kind of warm for them to stock trout around this time of the year in this lake.

Ive seen an 8+ pound bass get pulled out of the weeds just jigging some sort of a purpleish crawdad. Never had any personal luck there other then bluegill. Then again, im not the best fisherman in the world so that could be a reason haha.

I'm probably going there this weekend. Thanks for the headsup.
