5th Street 7/15 & Silver Strand 7/16

The bite was on , started off catching a ray every
cast , then got some nice SNGF whaming the bait out
further.

Later , changed to the light gear and caught some real
nice yellow fin croaker and lots of dinky perch .

Sorry no pics ... sand in the cam :(

Lots of crab beds , all crabs pea sized or smaller .
Corbina sliding though and bait boils this morning .

It's nice to see some reports from this area. Nice job on your catches. I was at Hollywood beach on the 15th trying for beans. Lots of nice sized ones, but extremely skittish. Maybe we'll bump into each other out there one day. 187

Chris ... do you get many of those yellowfin croaker round
there ?
Ive been fishing that area for a few years and that
was the first time id caught a few decent ones

I've caught a few here and there, the last few years. They really don't seem to be here in the numbers or size they used to. I also used to catch a few species of dog fish, but I haven't seen those in a few years.
