    Default A Break From MB...Decent NPH 5/1

After fishing MB every weekend for over a month, decided to hit up NPH after a practice AP exam. Didn't get there until nearly four o'clock, but fished till almost dark. Tide swing was not in our favor with a rather high low tide when we arrived.

Not a whole lot going on, but a few bites here and there. Lost my first big bendo when my hook bent out after some gnarly headshakes and a nice run. Well, that's what you get for fishing light tackle. I was the hot stick for the first hour, then the rest of them caught up.
Fish were biting very near shore and trying to pull you right back into their holes. Fun stuff on 6lb.

However, ended the day with a nice count. 16 spotties between us with most in the 10"-12" and one at 15", one 15" hali, and one pot?

Rather large shoulders for a small guy.

Can you get that fish any closer to the camera?

    You serious?

    Flapjacks are always fun.

This guy was not a happy camper. Tried his best to swamp Kevin(other) under the docks. This guy can't buy a bite at MB, but tears it up at out home base.

    Peace out fisher peeps...

Fishing is definitely a good distraction from your studies.
What the heck did you hook into in that third pic?!?
