la jolla 1st time!!!!!!
loved it. the waves were ok, a little bigger than i would have liked. the fishing a little slow, i think because of the waves and currents. all in all a good day landed a few bass, sculpin, and Barrie's. oh and lost something big, took off like hell. but it broke the line. i did notice some of the line was tore up, like some one used sand paper on it.

the place we fished on la jolla shores was a beach launch. there were a few small alum boats going out in the am. i don't know if they do have a traditional lunch ramp......might be one down in the harbor jut south of lajolla.

Not bad for 1st time out there! Too bad about the mystery fish (we can only speculate... 'fish stories' LOL!!).
It's the first place I'm headed to when I get a yak.
