Castaic Upper lake

I wanted to go to Piru for some crappie than changed my mind and went to the upper lake for some strippers, got to the lake around 8:00 am and looked around for some LMB for about an Hour or so, saw allott of Bass but they looked like they were still on the beds just going around and returning to their beds...
after throwing the whole tackle box at the LMB for Nada, I wanted to get some fish so I switched to the bait at the BL for some strippers,
the bite picked up around 11:00am and I was able to get some for myself,
