Default Possible DD at lower lagoon 4/24/10

My uncle and i fished the lower lagoon from the shore from around 10am-2pm. When we arrived we started throwing t-rigged robos and my uncle soon started sight fishing and got 3 fish to eat. It was really exciting seeing the fish suck in the lure, but outta the three he only got one to stick. A little guy probably 1lb-1 1/2lb. I started throwing a basstrix swimbait parallel to the shore and had three bass stalk it in, but couldnt get them to bite. So i said to hell with it and casted into deep water. Let the bait sink and after 6 or 7 cranks of the reel i feel a ton of dead weight and the slightest tick. With a hail marry swing i ram the hook into the fishes mouth and my heavy action kistler rod instantly goes bendo I know from the way the fish is pulling that its a pig and i had to tighten my drag. Finally the fish comes up and breaches and i know i got a monster on . I fight her for a few minutes and get her to shore. I am in awe at the size of her, this is definately hands down my pb largemouth and first swimbait fish i might add We take some pics and i gently release her back in the water to fight another day. Unfortunately i didnt have a scale so i guessed her weight at either high 9's or low 10. I hope you guys could guess and give me your thoughts on weight and enjoy some fish porn.
