    Default Castaic 4/25/10.

I fished Castaic Sunday for the afternoon bites. Got there @ 5.15pm, bait down 1 rod and within 30 second I got 4lbs striper. I thought it was a good bite, but NOT. I got another 3lbs around 30 min later.
I also got 3lbs LMB on bait too, released!
I got 1 blow up on a 7" KPN's top water, but it doesn't stick. I fished until closing and no more bite. Did not see anyone hook up on the swimbait.
Not bad for 2 hrs fishing.

I fished the dam area and used frozen Anchovie & Sardine, they both work.

    Khahn,

That's a nice catch for a short trip.

I've been trying to get out there after work, but I'm working on a hot project.

Very nice khan. Not too shabby for a quick trip.
You use the skinny shad at all?
    Robert.
