3/17 On the Rocks

I had to run down to Norwalk this morning (4/17) so I figured I’d take some gear with me and do a little fishing in L.B. after. Went over to 72 st. for a few hours of rock hoppin and bass catchin, throwing a pumpkin seed grub. Long story short, ended up with a couple bass, 1 being a new PB…for all time smallest calico.

Tomorrow I’ll be on the hunt for some linesides….

nice job out there. Did you fish pretty far down the jetty? I've never tried the grubs there, only swimmies.
also, how did you get out there? i thought it was all blocked off for the Grand prix?
Was going to hit the jetty yesterday but i was told traffic was blocked off at 2nd street all the way to ocean. I was pretty bummed to say the least.

Those Spotties are tough fighters, it kept trying to bury in the rocks.

Grubs are pretty productive out there. I worked my way out to the middle of the jetty and then back down. To get there I exited on Cherry and took Beach blvd. to the jetty.
