Nice session and cute pink rod..
Thanks for sharing
Sweet report! A 7 species day in the harbor is a solid accomplishment! Very cool with a harbor calico and WSB mixed in as well! And that is a pig sand bass for the harbor! Congrats and thanks for the reports..
Thanks everyone, i LOVE LOVE LOVE my new rod! Can't wait for our next outing.
LOL thanks Steve, I actually caught that Brick Bass. Thought I hooked into a good fish... then maybe a bat ray... then maybe some trash. Jason pulled it up by hand and we were like wth?? Well we also left it behind for the next lucky fisherman.
Hey hey hey, making fishing plans on our thread without inviting us?? Gee thanks guys.
We were dropping hints on purpose so you guys would pick up on it Tess.Originally Posted by Tesserz;448256[B
There will be a flotilla there next Sunday and we hope to see you & Jason out there too.
I always loe to come across your reports, you two are awsome and always show what fishing is all about. In your pictures you always capture the moment of fun and i almost feel like i am there sharing it with you two. I hae never had the chance to fish out there for bass but sometime maybe we can put something together, it would be fun. jason nice fish on the last photo, how was the fight on him? tess i love the rod if my wife would fish she would be jocking it hard, i dont know if you can tell me but where did you get it? or did jason not tell you? anyway outstanding guys.
jason aka jumpman
Thanks, I caught that beast on 8lb line. Knew it was a good fish when I felt my drag slipping (my drag is usually set pretty tight). He taped out at 21inches.
Sometimes you have to stick it out long enough til the fish are willing to cooperate.
Thanks man. I'm hoping to see a nice hali report from you soon with the warming weather.
Thanks. Looked like you guys killed the perch in the surf up north. WTG on the piggies.
Thanks man, keep the float tube reports coming.
No problem. Always happy to share some fish porn.
Thanks we didn't realize it until we looked back at the pics. The calico was a real surprise though. I caught that guy hiding underneath a dock like a spottie. I think he lost his way back to the kelp or something. I've got to give that Boji Blue a try sometime.
LOL we always stay out longer than we intend to. "Just a few more casts, and then we'll go"
The "Camo Red Brick Bass" doesn't put up much of a fight, but it does a good job of testing your knots.
Thanks Jason, I'm glad to hear that you enjoy our reports. And yes we are awesome. We enjoy catching all kinds of fish big or small that's why we're always so happy in our pics.
That sandie was a beast on 8lb line. I thought maybe I had a nice butt at first, but he was movin way too much to be a flattie.
We got the rod at the Fred Hall Show after it caught Tess' attention. You need to get your wife into fishing. Tess used to hate fishing, but I changed that. I started her off at the local pier for perch and anything else that would bite. Of course I had to rebait her everytime, but she has come a long way. Now she can tie on her own lures, unhook her own fish and lip the bass. Impressive! LOL
We try to make it out when we have free time. Next time you plan on heading out, shoot me a PM.
oh. duh. LOL. well we don't want to invite ourselves to your SWAT missions... that's just tacky. unfortunately, jason is on call this weekend till 4pm so we won't be able to join your flotilla from manila (we would've provided the manila part, LOL!!) sucky, maybe next time. good luck out there and thanks for hinting even though i didn't get it.
