    Tesserz & Jaysuuun,

Glad to see you 2 out playing "Fetch the Swimmie" with our harbor pets again!

A 7 species day working only the artificial is a great accomplishment!

And then there is the Triple Doubles, Tessers having good sucess with the new Pink Rod, the PB Turd Roller, and the conditions sucked??????

    "HO HUM"

You also accomplished a goal of mine. That would be that the boat got the Harbor Quadruple on the bass!!!!!!

    Spottie, Sandie, Calico, and WSB!

    CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!

Not a bad day my friends!

    Steve

Very nice Jaysun. Not a bad day at all. I've been busy getting my skunk on at Mission Bay. I'll be getting a boat soon, so you'll see me out and about terrorizing your neighborhood soon haha.

BTW What is the strength of your trolling motor? Any issues when the wind picks up?

Congrats on a 7 species day and your PB turd roller Jason.
    My turn next Sunday!
Thanks Arthur, our 7 species was quite an accomplishment and a first for us. Our "his & her" hookups happened all within a half hour. (Say that 3 times really fast, .)

Looked like you guys had some fun with the perch up north. Just wating for that WFO legal hali report from you to get us motivated to hit the surf again.

We fished the floating docks and next to the boats especially the shady areas when the sun is high in the sky. Good luck out there.

Thanks Mike. Fishing was fun, but the wind was not fun. The PB Sandie was fun on light tackle and Tess' new rod just looks funny.

And a WSB to boot. I'm suprised you goys don't get more short WSB with the pens there.
Have you guys started giving those spotties names ?

I'm 99.9% sure it is the same place they always go. Some of those boats and houses and docks pics have been in other posts.
(not really I just made that part up, could be true ?)
    DR
We don't have any names for them, just numbers. The homes and the boats do look awfully familiar.

Thanks. Looks like the larger butts are starting to move in although we didn't catch any larger models. I think I read a report of a nice legal caught yesterday on another board.

Thanks John, Tess has always wanted a pink rod, but I refused to allow her to get a cheapy Wal-Mart special so this was her dream come true. I have to admit even though it's pink, it slayed the bass.

LOL Steve, we didn't even realize that we caught 4 different kinds of bass til you mentioned it. We always refer to a WSB as a WSB forgetting that a WSB is indeed a bass. We didn't expect to catch that many species. We usually just try for the spotties with the occasional sandie and hali mix.

Okay fishing didn't suck that bad. It really was slow and discouraging the first half of the day, but it did pick up toward the end. And the wind did not let up from the time we got there til the time we left. It was difficult to keep the boat in position and fish at the same time. Before I could make a cast we were getting blown to the next couple of docks.

But I'm glad we toughed it out and did not quit because we were rewarded in the end. I was especially rewarded with a PB.

BTW Tess' new rod is ready for Spottie slaying at the reunion. When will that be?

Sorry to hear about the mission skunk. I hear a lot about the place, so I wanna give it a try someday.

Our motor is only a 30lb thrust. So far I haven't had a problem with it pushing us directly into the wind. Somedays I wish I had a little more power, but then I would have to worry about a bigger battery. It's a little slow, but it gets the job done.
