    Default The Goonies!

    We hit up the Goon yesterday, got there at 630am no wind but kinda chilly. My buddy Pat hooked on the first cast BAM! Drop shot the Robo OX blood 4 1/2in. We were fishing next to the pier. then about 20min later Bam! Pat on another one. Ten mins later my lil boy on one, a nice lil 2lber. fishinntime and me were like WTH! at this time were still skunka-roo. Ten mins go by BAM BAM! Pat on another one 2 lber. WTH! so we work the shore for another 2 hours nothing, no kinda love from the LMB's. So we decided to take a break and have lunch and head to Gallions for some COLDIES! We got back to the pier an hour later and we decied to work the upper lake no love there either. But there were trout everywhere but no one had trout gear LOL. so we headed back to the goon. We started fishing by the pier again, now i was throwing a shad color crank BANG BANG BOOM! GOT ME A PB CRAPPIE. 2lber.

    nice looks like you guys had a good day on the lake.

    I was there too but on my tube and caught 9 bass on the north end of the lake. There were loads of boats and tubes out and about since we had a day of light wind after the wind stroms we had all week lol.
