The drop-n-stay really works. Staying put is never a problem and the ride is much smoother while anchored. Defiitely worth the money.
Ill bet my right arm you and 4_D are the same people or buddies o.o

But I'll tell you one thing that it seems like most people don't have enough chain.
When you have enough chain the chain does the work lifting up and down off the ocean bottom.

Some say 1 1/2 times the boat lenght. 20' boat needs 30' of chain.

On my 18' Cuddy Cabin I have 35' of chain and the anchor almost never slips.
Yes it does make it tougher to pull but it beats going on the rocks.

I agree with DR on this! This product is cute but if you need to anchor your boat for safety you better have a good anchor and enough chain. Using the proper amount of chain gives you weight and the belly in the chain when sent is your shock absorbed.

How long will the oversized bungee cord last from dry rot?

    Welcome to the site!
    Glad to have you!
    Welcome aboard!

It is a shame when people cannot pass along a good product without being called a spammer. I guess I will just go back to lurking!

I used to use the chain and it worked ok but was such a pain to retrieve. As for the cord, not sure how long it will last but I have had mine for a few years and no problems thus far. They claim it is UV resistant and my heavy model is even salt water safe.
