2 weeks in the sierras
Started at Lone Pine. Son and wife fished Tuttle creek for 8 nice rainbows and a bunch of little browns. Next stop camping at Crowley BLM. Fished upper and lower McGee creek for nothing. Fished Convict creek and caught a bunch of rainbows and browns on a hopper dropper. Son caught a nice 13 inch brown. Rush creek: 3 days Day I: caught about 30 fish. Most under 6 inches. all on stimulater and prince nymph. Did catch a nice brown around 1.5 that I lost after about 20 second fight. Day II: Guided a friend on his first fly fishing trip. He caught 8 browns and 2 rainbows. I caught 5 browns and two nice rainbows. Day III: Windy windy windy. Only caught about 5 small browns. East walker Day I: Nothing Day II: only caught two chubs on an emerger. Little walker river: 3 brookies on a hopper dropper. West walker river 3 nice 12 inch rainbows on a beaded nymph. Did not due as much fishing as usually spent too much time riding the quad. Yellow
