Catalina Yellows ETA

Ok maybe this thread will kick start things,

I have noticed the party boats that go to Catalina have not been getting very many yellows, I'm not saying they havent got a few here and there.

But nothing in good numbers. So when are these things going to show in good numbers? Or is it only going to be Clemente this year. How cool would it be to go on a overnight out of long beach and only go to Catalina with all that fish time...

There was a killer bite on the Yellows there a month or so ago. As the water gets warmer the bite will get better. More and more fish will swim up here. We have a big bubble of local warming water up here. There isn't really much of a kelp paddy bite out there just yet so the fish aren't really migrating up here all that much just yet. I believe the yellows at SCI have been there all Winter long.
