Default Skunked at Indian Creek Reservoir

Not looking for sympathy just giving fair and accurate reporting. About 15 fisherman stretched up an down the lake and only 4 caught in about 4 hours ... but gorgeous country!

Now that I think of it ... it's called Indian Creek Reservoir

    Anybody fished there?

I have never fished there, but I think my brother told me he had good fishing there before, later in the spring. It's near Tahoe where he lives, and it is a put and grow trout fishery, much like Crowley, but receives a lot less attention.

Yes ... it's down the grade which is about 15-20 minutes and then about 20 minutes south. Not sure what "put and grow" means? But there are some nice fish in there including brownies.

Put and grow means it is only stocked with fingerlings or subcatchables, once per year, no stockings "catchable" trout. I am fairly sure that Indian Creek is one of these lakes.
