    What did you get that sweet smallie on?
    You are on fire. Ride it while you can. Hopefully you'll stay on them until the saltwater bite starts backup.

    When does the saltwater fishing kick off for you, Addiction? I can hadily wait. If your doing this good at DVL I can't imagine the "backside" you must kick in the salt

    Smallie was on a rattle trap type bait. Forgot what its called but shad color and about 3" long, slow sink

    For me it starts early spring for the catalina white seabass. From there the water starts to warm and the exotics move in and the ocean becomes full of life. You ever saltwater fish?
