Default Nph 2/12 2 part session

I was off work Friday so I got up early and headed down to NPH to fish the outgoing tide. I arrived at NPH at 0700 and started to fish. There was a pretty big tide swing so I though it would be good fishing. Well it was clear as could be and the water had cleaned up and was crystal clear other than the debris floating on top here and there. It was some time later that I finally got some fish to go.

    A few cast later.

I did some moving around got a few more to go.

    This one was decent.

Same fish, check out the clean water.

Another one that wanted a pic taken.

Had a few others that were not picture worthy before the "middle of the day blues"
set in. At 1330 I left to make the 45 min drive home to be at an appointment in the afternoon. My appointment was not going to take long and my wife was off work so I called her on the way and asked if she wanted to go back down to NPH and she said she would check on a sitter for the boys. Her mom agreed to whatch the boys (thank you Marcie) so we could go down and spend some time together. Pretty cool since I work all weekend and it was our Valentines Date! My wife decided to go to her work and get some waders before I even got home.

We headed back down and got there about 1730 or so. We suited up and were on our mission.

Gotta love the way she dresses up for a date!

Her first venture into the water.

Working hard as usual for a fish.

She hooked into something decent taking drag, thought it was a bigger spottie but it turned out to be flat!

    She finally got a spottie.

    Hooked up!

    Last fish of the night.

I got a few fish as well when I was not busy admiring her patience and effort.

Happy Valentines Day Hun! That was one of te best Valentines Day Dates I haver ever had!

    Late,
    Eddie

    Very nice report Hesbros,
It's good to see that Mrs. Hesbros is an accomplished angler as well..
I think that I'm definately going to have to make NPH my next target area.
Thanks for the report and pics,
    Robert

OH, Not really, only way I can take pics by myself and show any size..........As it was said in that last thread, there are thousands of docks in NPH that all look alike. As for poachers, everyone should remember a poacher is someone that breaks the law, by keeping undersized fish or going over their limit etc. people have been fishing NPH for years, and people have been keeping fish out of NPH for years. Spottie's are not the easiest fish to catch, it takes some work and skill. The bait and wait fisher people may get a few. But right now the population seems strong.
