    Default 2/6 Rainy Day

Went to the lake on 2/6. Got in line at 5:15. Was 3rd in line, first on left side. Weather was steady rain to severe downpour till about 11, then intermittent downpours. First fish on at 6:40, in a severe downpour on a Powermouse. Caught two more. Sizes 2.2, 2.11, 3.6 lbers.
Amazed at how fast the water level increased thoughtout the day. Watched a metal (junk) fire ring go from 2 feet from waterline to almost submerged! WOW!
Loved the challenge that the rains bring. Muddy shoreline, dirty water, NO CROWDS!!!! There was maybe 20 anglers the entire day.

Very glad I went on a very rainy day.
Would've been a great day if my new "water and wind proof" jacket worked. It was neither. Soaked to the bone from 7:15 till I left at 2:15. I sent it back today to BPS for an exchange.

There's just something about fishing rainy conditions that I dig........

Sounds like you caught some 'perfect for grillin' trout!
    Congrats!

Thanks for the report and keep em coming!
