    well, no luck on the permit. Soooooo no climbing Whitney but i will be making a trip up to the sierras regardless....

    sorry to hear it bro. Lots of other great places to try. How about Mt Langley, which could take you into Golden country-- Cottonwood lakes??? Roads off of whitney portal rd.
