    I'm not sure everyone here knows how good this lake can be. But I decided to post pictures of fish I caught there this year. From Redears to trout to bass to catfish to bluegill.

    That's a lot of fish!

    Is that a roller tip on the fat rod in one of the last photos?

    No I have 2 rods like that custom made from squidco. 1 is about 7 inches shorter with a daiwa sealine 50 hv designed for 40 pnd line and the other longer one has a daiwa sealine 40 hv designed for 30 pnd line.

    True, but I would strongly consider using an 8/0 or even 10/0 circle hook.

    I would too 5/0 to 10/0 I say. 5/0 can be kinda small but it works well. It depends on ur style IMHO. I am just a lighter tackle n gear sort of guy.
