Thread: 40lb plus Duct Striper, Central Cali.

Default 40lb plus Duct Striper, Central Cali.

A friend caught this striper this morning on a Spro BBZ shad (killer gill). Aprox. 44lbs and about 51 inches. We know how some of you guys down there in Southern California, and Bakersfield do it. We've been catching some decent ones here also in the Central California Aquaduct. Averaging of 25inches and about 7lbs. Been on this site for sometime also but just never posted anything. The 44lber was their limit, since our portion of the duct is limit 2 per person (4 people). The other 6 stripers that were caught were in between 22-26 inches, with majority of the stripers coming off lucky craft pointer 128's and plastic swimbaits.
